Genshin Impact Dancin' in the Moonlight quest guide
Dancin' in the Moonlight in Genshin Impact is a hidden quest in Natlan's "Flower-Feather Clan." It is a pretty simple and interesting quest in which you must help an NPC named Magnifico take a photograph of a Saurian. This quest can also be slightly tricky because the quest navigation doesn't provide any directions for the photo shoot and only marks the location on the map, which is pretty easy to miss.
In any case, completing the quest will give you 40 Primogems. Here's a simple guide on how to complete the Dancin' in the Moonlight quest in Genshin Impact.

Dancin' in the Moonlight quest location
Head to the southwest teleport waypoint "Flower-Feather Clan" and glide southeast to find a kid lying on the ground at a small camp. You will also see some dialogue as you get closer to him. Talk to him to start the Dancin' in the Moonlight quest.
Give Magnifico some water
Giving Magnifico some water can be tricky for some because there's no clear direction. Follow these steps to give him some water:
- Use the nearby Spiritsconce and transform into an Iktomisaur.
- Hold Normal Attack and focus on the symbol on the nearby rock.
- Hold Elemental Skill and aim at the spot with a white marker near Magnifico.
Doing so will summon a Hydro Amber next to Magnifico and you must strike it to shower him with water.
You will also get an Exquisite Chest as a reward for helping Magnifico.

Go to the location of Magnifico's photoshoot
Use the northernmost teleport waypoint in "Master of the Night-Wind" to go to Magnifico's photoshoot location. If you haven't unlocked this waypoint, then you can use the one south of it and go straight before taking the stairs on the left to go up. Once there, it will trigger a long cutscene.
Complete the lighting setup for the shoot
Indwell an Iktomisaur and put the lighting on the following spots:
- Place one on the spot near the teleport waypoint.
- Place the other light behind the Saurian.
This will trigger another cutscene and conclude the Dancin' in the Moonlight quest.
As a reward for completing the quest, you will get 30 Primogems.
