Genshin Impact Ironbeard: Natlan local legend location, how to beat, and achievement guide
The new Natlan map expansion of Genshin Impact 5.2 has added six new local legends to the game. All of them are formidable enemies, one of them being Ironbeard, who can be found close to the Flower-Feather Clan settlement. This foe is capable of dealing a lot of damage to your characters, and without a proper team, you may have difficulty in clearing this Night's Trial.

Ironbeard location
To challenge Ironbeard, you must first teleport to the Obsidian Totem Pole in the Flower-Feather Clan settlement. From there, move northeast, toward the location marked on the map above. Here, you will come across another Obsidian Totem Pole, interacting with which will teleport you to the Night Kingdom. Defeat the local legend here to complete the Night's trail.
How to defeat Ironbeard
Ironbeard can deal a lot of damage to your characters at close range since he is a melee attacker. Throughout the challenge, it will produce Molten Barbs on the field that appear similar to red-colored ores. By breaking them, you can trigger an explosion that can temporarily incapacitate Ironbeard. You are recommended to use this opportunity to deal damage to Ironbeard, bringing you a step closer to defeating him.
To efficiently destroy the Molten Barbs, you must use Geo attacks or Plunge attacks. As such, use characters on your team capable of utilizing either of them.
Tips to defeat Ironbeard
Below are some tips using which you can gain an advantage in your fight against Ironbeard:
- Use Geo main DPS characters like Navia and Itto during battle to easily break the Molten Barbs. If you don't have either, opt for some Geo sub-DPS units.
- Add characters like Xiao, Xianyun, or Gaming that can perform Plunge attacks with their abilities.
All Ironbeard achievements in Genshin Impact
By completing the Ironbeard Night's Trial, you will obtain an exclusive achievement of the same name. Claiming it will reward you with five Primogems in the game.
