Genshin Impact Lanyan idle and gameplay animations leaked
Currently, several players worldwide are engaged in the Genshin Impact 5.3 closed beta test. They are able to test the upcoming characters, including Lanyan, who is expected to be a Liyue 4-star character that may be central to this year's Lantern Rite festival.
Leaker Dimbreath has shared footage of Lanyan's gameplay in the beta and fans can see it in the embed above. It showcases her idle animations, her walking, and sprinting, as well as her abilities' usage. Let's discuss each one.
Idle animations
During Lanyan's first idle animation, a small bird-like creature flies around her in circles while she claps and appreciates it. Later, it lands on her hands and she puts it away.
In the second idle animation, Lanyan takes out one of her ring blades and performs a small dance with it.
Normal Attack and Charged Attacks
When using her Normal Attacks, Lanyan performs four consecutive slashes. While the first three hits are quick, she dashes forward in the fourth one and executes an X slash with both her ring blades.
As for Lanyan's Charged Attack, upon using it, she performs a quick slash in front of her and then throws one of her ring blades as a projectile in the forward direction.
Elemental Skill
Upon casting Lanyan's Elemental Skill, she dashes forward a significant distance dealing Anemo DMG. Moreover, she creates a shield to protect her from incoming damage.
Elemental Burst
After using Lanyan's Elemental Burst, she will spin with agility summoning a small wind current in front of her that can pull enemies offering crowd control.
