Genshin Impact Palace of the Vision Serpent quest guide

Palace of the Vision Serpent in Genshin Impact is the second quest in Act II of the Lost Traveler in the Ashen Realm. During the quest, you must solve a long puzzle by placing the Radiant Fragments into Radiant Pillars and cleansing the filth around Chu'ulel Light Core to uncover its secrets. Completing the quest will give 50 Primogem rewards, Luxurious Chest, and more.

Palace of the Vision Serpent automatically begins after you complete the Adventure in the Land of Mists quest in Genshin Impact.

Enter the ruins

Enter the ruin and follow the quest navigation to reach the Core of Chu'ulel. Once you get there, a cutscene will begin.

Approach the suspicious core

After the cutscene, pick up the two Radiant Fragments and place them on the Radiant Pillar near the filth. This will cleanse the area and give you a Common Chest reward.

After collecting the chest, extract both Radiant Fragments before going to the suspicious core, and place them on the nearby Radiant Pillar. This will remove the barrier and summon a few enemies. Quickly defeat them to start the next objective.

Follow the road to find another Radiant Pillar. Place the Fragment on it to cleanse the corruption on the nearby rock pillars. Once that is done, keep moving ahead and go to the next Radiant Pillar's location to find a small room with an elevator.

Enter the room and extract the Radiant Fragment before following these steps:

Use the elevator to go down and exit it.
Keep moving to find another Radiant Fragment.
Extract the Fragment and exit the building.
Turn left turn and use the ladders at the small camp to go up.
Place both Fragments on the Radiant Pillar.

This will cleanse the second Abyssal corruption.

After cleaning the second corrupted area, go down to the camp and collect the remarkable chest before using the broken stairs to reach the building in the north. Once there, you will find another Radiant Fragment that you must place on the Radiant Pillar with a single fragment holder. This will open a path for you to go down. In addition, you will find a Pyroculus inside the room.

Jump down from the small space on the floor and pick up the Rust-Spotted Key from the shelf. Next, use the nearby mechanism to call the elevator and go up. After exiting the elevator, pick up the Radiant Fragment from the previous Radiant Pillar and go south.

Open the seal by using the Rust-Spotted Key on the mechanism and extract the Radiant Fragment before heading back down to place both Fragments on the Pillar. This will cleanse all the Abyssal corruption and trigger a cutscene.

Protect the fallen core and repel the monsters

Head down and defeat all the enemies that appear from the rift. During the fight, you will also receive unexpected help from a Secret Source Automaton. Once you're done, you will be rewarded with a Luxurious Chest, worth ten Primogems in Genshin Impact.

Meet up with Bona

Use the teleport waypoint to return to the ground level and meet up with Bona. This will conclude the Genshin Impact Palace of the Vision Serpent quest, and you will get 50 Primogems for completing this quest.
