Genshin Impact Sauro-Vet's Dilemma quest location and guide
Sauro-Vet's Dilemma location
Teleport to the waypoint southeast of Flower-Feather Clan and head north to find a huge cliff. Find a Saurian nearby or use Kachina/Xilonen to climb the cliff and keep going north to find an NPC being attacked by a Qucusaur. For reference, the location is exactly above the Tenebrous Papilla boss.
Approaching the NPC and Qucusaur will trigger a cutscene and start the Sauro-Vet's Dilemma quest.
Subdue the temperamental Qucusaur
After the quest begins, swiftly defeat the angry Qucusaur. Once you're done, another cutscene will begin and the NPC will introduce herself and explain the situation.
Catch up with "Kururuk"
Interact with the shining spot on the ground and change to the little Saurian's POV. Next, follow the quest navigation and catch up with the Qucusaur. Unfortunately, when you finally catch up to it, it will fly away and end up getting injured.
Go to the injured Qucusaur and break the rock under which it is buried. This will trigger another cutscene and you must give the Saurian a medicine. You will have two options and you can pick either one. Both items have different properties but regardless of what you pick, the result will still be the same.

Subdue "Kururuk"
Giving the Qucusaur a medicine will anger it even more and you must defeat it in a battle.
Talk to Mazkal
Finally, follow the quest navigation and return to Mazkal. Report everything to her to conclude the Sauro-Vet's Dilemma quest.
Quest rewards
As mentioned previously, you will get 30 Primogems and unlock a hidden achievement titled "It's Not Much, But It's A Start...", worth five Primogems.
