Honkai Star Rail 2.6 to add new relics and stagnant shadows

HoYoverse always introduces brand new characters and various activities to level them up and the Honkai Star Rail 2.6 patch is not an exception. The upcoming update is set to introduce several iterations of activities that will bring in several level-up materials and Relic sets which will help players build their characters.

In this article, we will be taking a look at the Stagnant Shadow and Cavern of Corrosion stages that are set to be released along with the Honkai Star Rail 2.6 update.

Brand new Cavern of Corrosion and Stagnant Shadow stages set to be introduced in Honkai Star Rail 2.6

Two brand new activities are set to be introduced to the Trailblazers along with the Honkai Star Rail 2.6 update, namely the new Cavern of Corrosion and Stagnant Shadow Stages.

Here’s a brief detail of what players can expect from these Stagnant Shadow and Cavern of Corrosion stages:

With the Honkai Star Rail 2.6 patch, the Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Timbre can be accessed by all Trailblazers. Once the Trailblazers successfully complete this stage, regardless of difficulty, they will be rewarded with the “Chordal Mirage” ascension material.

This ascension material can be used to ascend the upcoming characters who wield the Imaginary element, not the old ones such as DHIL. Moreover, players must farm this material for Rappa when it becomes available since she requires it alongside other level-up materials to be able to reach the maximum level.

Moving onto the Cavern of Corrosion stage, the Path of Uncertainty will also become available alongside the Honkai Star Rail version 2.6 update. Similar to most Cavern of Corrosion stages, this one will also feature two brand new Relic sets: Sacerdos' Relived Ordeal and Scholar Lost in Erudition.

Here are the unique effects of these two Relic sets:

Scholar Lost in Erudition

  • 2-piece set bonus: Boosts the wielder’s CRIT Rate by a whopping 8%.
  • 4-piece set bonus: The wielder deals 20% additional damage with their ultimate and skill. Moreover, their next skill’s damage receives an additional 25% boost after the wielder triggers their ultimate.

Sacerdos' Relived Ordeal

  • 2-piece set bonus: Boosts the wielder’s SPD by 6%.
  • 4-piece set bonus: After the wielder uses their skill or ultimate ability on one allied character, their unit’s CRIT DMG gets an 18% boost for two turns. This boost can stack twice, granting 36% additional CRIT DMG.
