Honkai Star Rail 2.7 is scheduled to release in a few more weeks. There has been a lot of talk regarding this upcoming patch, as it features two of the most hyped characters in Honkai Star Rail, Sunday and Fugue. Of course, there have also been plenty of discussions regarding the other rerunning characters in the patch.
Recent leaks for version 2.7 have finally disclosed some information regarding the same. According to these leaks, the two characters who will be featured in their rerun banners are Jing Yuan and Firefly. Jing Yuan and Firefly rerun banners in Honkai Star Rail 2.7, as per leaks
According to leaks by credible leaker stepleaks (and reposted on X by Razor_Language), the two characters who will have their reruns in Honkai Star Rail 2.7 are Lightning Erudition unit Jing Yuan and Fire Destruction unit Firefly. While the Xianzhou Luofu’s General has experienced quite a few reruns in the past, this will be Firefly’s first rerun since her launch.
In today's Honkai Star Rail meta, Firefly remains one of the most sought-after units because of the role she plays in Break teams. While Jing Yuan has been overshadowed by other more powerful characters, Sunday's introduction might put him back in the spotlight.
Sunday's kit leaks have revealed that he can buff characters as well as summons, which would be incredibly useful for Jing Yuan and his Lightning Lord.
Honkai Star Rail 2.7 banners, as disclosed by leaks
Stepleaks has not only hinted at the possible reruns in version 2.7, but has also provided information about the banners for the upcoming version. According to the leak, this is the banner schedule for Honkai Star Rail 2.7:
Phase I:
- Sunday (5-Star Imaginary Harmony)
- Jing Yuan (5-Star Lightning Erudition)
Phase II:
- Fugue (5-Star Fire Nihility)
- Firefly (5-Star Fire Destruction)
Phase I for Honkai Star Rail 2.7 is expected to begin on December 3, 2024, along with the version update. Phase II will begin on December 25, 2024, and last till January 14, 2025, following which the game will be updated to the next version.
Of course, the credibility of these leaks will soon be proved once HoYoverse officially announces the banners for the upcoming patch in the Honkai Star Rail 2.7 livestream, which will be broadcast next week.
