Honkai Star Rail 2.7 leaks show all characters involved in upcoming story quest
Honkai Star Rail 2.7 is all set to be released in the first week of December 2024. As per standard schedule, the version 2.7 livestream, where more details about the upcoming patch and the banners will be revealed, should also take place soon. As of now, leaks about the next patch have surfaced, which supposedly reveal the characters that players will get to meet in the main story quest.
Since one of the character banners in version 2.7 is the 5-Star unit Sunday, it is expected that the story will take players back to Penacony. Leaks regarding the characters appearing in the upcoming story suggest the same.

Honkai Star Rail 2.7 leaks hint at upcoming Trailblaze Continuance characters
Reputed leaker HomDGCat has disclosed the full list of characters who will apparently appear in the Honkai Star Rail 2.7 main story quest, which is speculated to take place in Penacony. This information has been uploaded to HomDGCat's personal website homdgcat.wiki and reposted on the Telegram channel t.me/homdgcat.
According to this leak, the Trailblaze Continuance story for Honkai Star Rail 2.7 will be set in Penacony, and the following characters will appear in it:
- Sunday
- "Harmonious Choir" The Great Septimus
- Robin
- Trailblazer
- Welt
- Fugue
- Yukong
The fact that Sunday and Fugue are expected to make an appearance in the main story for the upcoming patch lends credibility to the leak, as both are new characters who will be released in Honkai Star Rail 2.7.
A previous leak had suggested that Sunday would be the next Astral Express Crew member, which might be one of the plots that will take place in the version 2.7 main story.
Since the latest leak by HomDGCat suggests that only Fugue (and not Sunday) will become a future Express visitor, the leak about Sunday joining the Astral Express as a crew member might very much be real.
Since Honkai Star Rail 3.0 is also fast approaching, the main storyline of version 2.7 will feature a short teaser for 3.0 towards the end, according to HomDGCat. The story will supposedly see Herta communicating with an Aeon at the Herta Space Station.
A 5-Star version of Herta has already been teased by HoYoverse, and leaks regarding the same have also surfaced. If these leaks turn out to ber true, players might get to know a little bit more about a possible future 5-Star variant of Herta during the 2.7 main story quest.
