Honkai Star Rail 2.7 Sunday release date and countdown
With the Honkai Star Rail version 2.7 special program livestream ending, HoYoverse has revealed the upcoming banners. Among the two new 5-star characters of the patch, Sunday will be released in the first phase, allowing players to obtain him as soon as the patch goes live. Since he follows the Path of Harmony, it's a given that he will excel in helping his allies while they fight.
With that being said, this article takes a look at Sunday’s release date in Honkai Star Rail.
Sunday banner release date, time, and all featured characters in Honkai Star Rail
Since Sunday will be debuting in the Honkai Star Rail version 2.7 update, his banner will be available as soon as the patch is live, on December 4, 2024, at 11 AM (UTC +8). We have added only one release time as each patch usually goes live in all regions simultaneously.
As per the custom, three 4-star characters will be featured in Sunday’s limited-time banner with a significant boost in their drop rate. These units are:
- Arlan: Destruction, Lightning
- Qingque: Erudition, Quantum
- Tingyun: Harmony, Lightning
Apart from Sunday’s character banner, Jing Yuan’s rerun banner will be available during the first half of the update. That also means this Arbiter General’s signature Light Cone will also be available until the first phase of Honkai Star Rail version 2.7 ends.

Sunday banner countdown

All 4-star Light Cones in Sunday’s signature LC banner
Along with Sunday’s limited-time character banner, his Light Cone banner will be available for Trailblazers. Those who want to boost this new 5-star Harmony unit’s potency without spending a fortune on Eidolons should pull for this piece of equipment.
As usual, Sunday’s signature Light Cone, A Grounded Ascent, will be featured in this banner with three 4-stars with a boosted drop rate. This means players rolling in this banner will have a high chance of getting these three LCs mentioned below:

- The Birth of the Self: Erudition
