Fugue's character model and gameplay
Since Fugue is a Foxian, she features the usual Foxian attributes, such as long ears, a tail, and more. As for her character model, Fugue can be seen wearing a customized version of what looks similar to a traditional Chinese dress, Hanfu. This dress features flower embroidery on both of her hands with a belt-like ornament around her waist, which looks like a flower held together by petals.
Similar to her 4-star version, Fugue can be seen rocking almost the same hairstyle and color. However, the color of her tail is quite different as the Tingyun model features a dark brown tail, whereas Fugue boasts a pink one, which looks similar to Jiaoqiu’s.
Moving over to Fugue's gameplay, she can be seen using her fan to attack enemies. When she attacks, a fire projectile is unleashed toward the direction Fugue is facing and explodes after a short duration if it doesn't hit anything.
Fugue's idle and other animations
Similar to most characters in Honkai Star Rail, Fugue will also have two unique idle animations. In the first one, she is seen dancing for a little bit then she twirls once while using her paper fan to cover parts of her face. In the second idle animation, Fugue can be seen checking out her new attire while moving around a little.
In her Basic ATK animation, Fugue attacks the enemy with a small fireball while twirling around. Additionally, during her skill animation, the Foxian brings her fan out and spins around once while featuring a giant paper fan hologram and five tails behind her. During her enhanced Basic ATK, Fugue unleashes five fireballs at the enemy cast by five of her tails.
Her ultimate animation, the main attraction of her entire kit, is quite unique. While casting it, Fugue enters a different plane dancing with her paper fans, and right after, players will be greeted with a close-up shot of her face. Then, she unleashes a burst of fire, revealing all nine of her tails.
Lastly, her technique lets out a burst of fire while revealing five of her tails.

Fugue's playstyle in Honkai Star Rail
Judging how her animations and abilities work, Fugue will excel in boosting her allied party members' damage by debuffing the opponents. Since she walks on the Nihility Path, it is given that she will be specializing in debuffs.
Therefore, the optimal playstyle for Fugue is to attack the enemies before the DPS characters take their turn to maximize the damage. She must keep her damage-boosting debuffs activated at all times to provide the best assistance to her allies.
