How to defeat Prometheus in Hades 2
Hades 2 features prominent boss fights, and defeating some of them can be very challenging if rushed into. These bosses pose varying levels of challenges for players, as they proceed through various regions. The title follows the many trials faced by Melinoe en route to achieving her ultimate goal of defeating Chronos and rescuing her father, Hades, from captivity.
One of the more challenging fights is with Prometheus, the final boss found on Olympus. Though a powerful foe with an eagle companion to aid him in battle, using the right tactics can help you take him down more easily.

Defeating Prometheus in Hades 2
To take down Prometheus, choose the correct Boons to deal maximum damage while taking minimal damage from his attacks. You can use Boons, such as Shameless Attitude, Divine Dash, Blinding Spirit, Flutter Strike, and Hot Pot to make the battle easier. Use the Sister Blades to ensure rapid damage is dished his way.
He is also aided by an eagle companion named Aetos, who can cause Melinoe damage. The best practice would be to avoid the bird when it arrives on the battlefield. Prometheus' fire attack is quite challenging. Not only does it deal notable damage, but it also results in a lot of the arena's battle area being significantly diminished. Use attacks like Flame Vortex to cause damage to him.
When his fire attacks are charging up, deflect to prevent blocking off large parts of the arena. Furthermore, avoid his Flames of Foresight attack, which occurs twice during the fight, when his health bar is reduced to two-thirds and one-third. He will jump out of the arena and shoot fire at you. Scan the area affected by the flame attack and stand in the unaffected parts.
Prometheus' attacks can be challenging if you're looking to maintain a distance from him, so don't stand too far during combat. His Ring of Fire attack is also dangerous, as the two rings he fires result in a large inferno when they collide. He can also summon four Satyr Goldpikes, Satyr Sappers, or Raptor Harpies to assist him in battle.
Importantly, focus on dodging while in close-quarters combat. That’s because standing too close or far will result in repeated attacks directed at you. His attacks are not too complicated, so appropriately using Deflects can help take down the Titan of Foresight.
