How to get Chronicle of the End in Metaphor ReFantazio

There are many items available in Metaphor ReFantazio for players to collect throughout the campaign. While some items are easier to come by and more common in occurrence, certain items may require an incredible amount of grinding to acquire. One such item, called Chronicle of the End, requires leveling up in multiple archetype categories to be unlocked.

Although acquiring this item may take time given the time it can take to level up, the reward for acquiring this is one that is very beneficial. Below are the steps to acquire the Chronicle of the End.

Chronicle of the End in Metaphor ReFantazio

To acquire Chronicle of the End, all the Royal Archetypes in Metaphor ReFantazio must be mastered. This involves leveling each specified archetype all the way to Level 20, the maximum rank players can achieve. The Archetypes that must be leveled up are as follows:

Prince (Protagonist): Following the main campaign.
Royal Warrior (Strohl): Rank 20 in Samurai and Warlord.
Royal Knight (Hulkenberg): Rank 20 in Paladin, Rank 15 in Dark Knight and Elemental Master.
Royal Thief (Heismay): Rank 20 in Ninja, and Rank 15 in Tycoon and Dragoon.
Royal Masked Dancer (Junah): Rank 20 in Persona Master and Trickster.
Royal Summoner (Eupha): Rank 20 in Devil Summoner and Soul Hacker.
Royal Berserker (Basilio): Rank 20 in Berserker and Martial Artist.

Royal Archetypes can be unlocked once the player's Bond Rank with More is at Rank 8 and the Prince archetype has been unlocked. Once this step is completed, reach Rank 8 in the Bond Rank with the characters Strohl, Hulkenberg, Heismay, Junah, Eupha, and Basilio.

Increasing More's bond ranks requires studying Archetypes, and progressing through the characters' Bond Ranks. In the process of reaching Bond Rank 8 with More, a character will have to be leveled up to Rank 15 in the Merchant and General Archetypes.

Once the aforementioned Archetypes have been upgraded to the Royal status for a cost of 30,000 MAG per archetype, head over to talk with More. He will be very impressed with your efforts to upgrade all the Archetypes.

He then bestows upon players the incredible Chronicle of the End book, allowing the protagonist to use the incredibly powerful Armageddon’s Final Sire attack, which can deal 9,999 damage per hit. The most powerful Synthesis ability, this attack requires a party solely consisting of Royal Archetypes to be accessed.
