Revenge Counter in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is an essential combat technique to counter opponents' attacks. The title consists of several combat mechanics to help you win a fight. Among them, the Revenge Counter can be used to block almost every attack and lets you avoid sustaining lethal damage. It is important to master this move to get an advantage in a fight. Moreover, it can be considered a savior as it allows you to quickly escape combo attacks in a crucial match. However, the technique has a few drawbacks, which we will discuss later in this article.

Revenge Counter in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero costs 2 Skill Points. This means you must utilize the attack wisely, as these points are otherwise essential to transform or enter Sparking Mode. However, Skill Points do regenerate after some time. While the Revenge Counter is very effective at blocking foes’ attacks, it is also used to hit enemies and push them away.

In order to perform the Revenge Counter in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, you need to press R3/R while under attack. You can also try some Ki blasts or follow-up shots after performing Revenge Counter to make it more effective.

You can easily perform this technique at medium range, even under attack. However, before performing it, you must pay attention to the direction your enemies are attacking from.

The only major drawback of this combat mechanic is that you can’t execute it when the enemy is behind you. Also, keep in mind that it can’t prevent enemies from using the Ultimate Blast or Super Counters. Hence, it's best to use Revenge Counter when your opponent's Ki is low or when they are in a vulnerable position.
