The mysterious Crossroads is home to many secrets, one of which is the Regrets of the Dread Wolf questline, which allows you to learn more about Solas' past. Guide to unlocking the Gate of Faded Glory in Dragon Age The Veilguard
The Gate of Faded Glory can be found on the second island at the Crossroads region in Dragon Age The Veilguard. You will gain access to this area during the A Warden's Best Friend quest, which will also unlock the Eluvian to Anderfels. Deeper on the island, the Gate of Faded Glory will block your path and you will need to find its champion's essence to unlock the area ahead.
The Champion's Essence is found in the Arlathan Forest: you won't be able to access this area until you start Davrin's first companion quest called How to Train Your Griffon. After completing the quest, make your way to the northeast section of the Arlathan Forest. You will come across a locked ladder that you can unlock using a ranged attack.
Climb the ladder to find a door locked by blight. Use Harding's ability to move the stone platforms and head inside the elven ruins. Here, you will come across several blight spores: break them all before targeting the Blight Cyst. This will spawn the champion, Entarus the Rekindled. Defeating it will spawn the essence you need to unlock the Gate of Faded Glory in Dragon Age The Veilguard.

Entarus the Rekindled is a level 25 boss and can be a handful if you don't take out the blight spores before spawning him. It will use fire to attack you, so make sure to avoid its hits. After you obtain the Champion's Essence, head back to the Gate of Faded Glory in Dragon Age The Veilguard and use it to unlock the area beyond.
