The Prince Archetype in Metaphor ReFantazio is the full potential of the protagonist or the playable character. Once you unlock the Prince Archetype, Will, the canonical name of the protagonist, awakens the Prince within him, which sets the end events of the story in motion. This Archetype also comes with some of the most powerful abilities in the game.

Unlocking the Prince Archetype in Metaphor ReFantazio
To unlock the Prince Archetype, complete the "Prepare For Final Battle" main quest or operation. After reaching this stage, you and your followers will engage in a conversation with Old Hermitess Gruidae, discussing the history of human tribes. During this exchange, the protagonist will experience a moment of divine communication as a Mysterious Voice begins to speak directly to them. This event unlocks the Prince Archetype.
Once unlocked, the Prince Archetype grants the protagonist access to powerful abilities, such as:
- Royal Slash – This move can deal extreme physical Almighty damage to a single enemy.
- Hero’s Cry – This ability can be game-breaking because this ability can add four turn icons to your team.
You will get access to these abilities as you improve the ranks of the Archetype. For faster progression, use items like the Hero's Leaf, Light, or Fruit to boost the Prince Archetype’s rank.

How to unlock the Secret Ability: Armageddon's Final Sire for the Prince Archetype in Metaphor ReFantazio
The Prince Archetype’s secret skill, Armageddon’s Final Sire, is a synthesis skill that can deal 9,999 damage to all enemies. To unlock this skill, you must first unlock the Royal Archetypes for each follower in your party, which can only done by increasing your bond ranks with them.

Steps to Unlock Armageddon's Final Sire:
- Raise Bond Levels – Increase your bond with each follower in the party to at least Level 8. It unlocks the Heroic/Royal Archetypes for all followers.
- Visit the Akademeia – After achieving this bond level, head to More in the Akademeia. There, you can obtain the "Chronicle of the End" item.
- Activate Armageddon's Final Sire – With the Chronicle of the End, you’ll gain the ability to use Armageddon's Final Sire during combat.
