How to upgrade your tools in Mirthwood
In an RPG and simulation title like Mirthwood, having good tools is essential to craft your village and farm. Since there are a ton of activities to do in Mirthwood like fighting monsters, farming, ranching animals, etc., there is also a long list of tools available. However, upgrading them timely is essential to progress.
Unfortunately, upgrading tools in Mirthwood requires a lot of in-game currency. This guide will delve into all tool kits available and how to use them to upgrade your tools.
Mirthwood: Guide on upgrading tools
As mentioned previously, it is essential to upgrade your tools in the early game, as that will help you speed up the process of farming and harvesting. You can use that time to complete main and side quests in Mirthwood. For this, however, you will first need to look for a blacksmith. Head to South Brightoak to find a blacksmith who sells upgrades for your tool kits.
To upgrade your copper tools to iron tools, you will need 750 coins and an anvil. To craft an anvil, which will be used as a workstation for upgrading tools, you will need 15 stone and 2 iron bars. Once you have all this, you can make an anvil on your workbench. If you have iron ores, you can put them into a furnace to make iron bars.
All the tool kits and their costs are mentioned below:
- Iron Tool Kit- 750 coins
- Steel Took Kit- 2,000 coins
- Silver Tool Kit- 3,000 coins

Once you upgrade your tools, you will be able to harvest faster using your scythe, or speed up the tilling process of your home, and can even water a larger radius by upgrading your watering pot in the game.
Upgrading your pickaxes will help you break and acquire harder materials.

- Silver axes can break Logs
- Steel axes increase the pace of harvesting
- Gold axes can enhance the efficiency of chopping
