Is Long Road Leads Home worth pulling in Honkai Star Rail 2.7?

Long Road Leads Home is the upcoming Nihility 5-star character, Fugue’s signature 5-star Light Cone in Honkai Star Rail. It will be available alongside the character’s banner during the second phase of version 2.7. Since Fugue is a Nihility character, the Light Cone will only be equipped on the units who follow the identical Path.

As this brand-new Foxian unit is quite different from the rest of the Nihility units, the Light Cone is also quite unique in its own way.

That said, this article discusses whether you should roll for Long Road Leads Home in Honkai Star Rail version 2.7.

Note: Some aspects of this article are subjective and solely rely on the writer’s opinion.

Should you consider pulling Long Road Leads Home in Honkai Star Rail version 2.7?

Here is the unique effect that Long Road Leads Home grants to all Nihility characters in Honkai Star Rail:

  • When equipped on a Nihility character, this LC passively boosts the wielder’s Break Effect by 60%. Additionally, the adversaries will get affected by the “Charring” state when their Weakness gets broken. Enemies affected by the state will receive additional Break damage for two turns, which can be stacked twice.

The answer to the question is a little tricky. You can pull for Long Road Leads Home only if you are also pulling for Fugue in Honkai Star Rail. Since it’s her BiS 5-star LC, equipping it on her will boost her abilities’ potency by a substantial amount.

Moreover, since there aren't many Nihility units whose abilities scale with Break Effect, they might not be able to use this LC to the full extent. If you decide to pull for it while not pulling for Fugue, the other Nihility characters will not be able to perfectly utilize it.

You may think that since the LC grants Break Effect damage boost, it can be equipped on any Nihility unit and they will be able to perform well. However, that is quite wrong. As the other units from the aforementioned Path’s playstyle are different, they are simply not a good pair for the BE units.
