Is Stalker 2 playable on Steam Deck, Rog Ally, and Legion GO? Best settings explored

GSC Game World's recently released FPS title, Stalker 2, demands fairly high specs to run smoothly. As such, the game's minimum and recommended requirements might make one wonder if it's even playable on a handheld gaming device, such as the Steam Deck, Asus Rog Ally, or Legion GO.

Handhelds have returned after a long time and have once again become popular among gamers due to the portability they offer.

That said, handheld gaming devices are not as powerful as a good gaming PC or a next-gen console. But can they run a modern title like Stalker 2? Unfortunately, the Steam Deck is unable to do so. Also, the game page does not claim Stalker 2 to be Steam Deck-approved.

While the game does run on Steam Deck after an extremely long loading time, it is not playable. However, Stalker 2 can be played on the Asus Rog Ally and Legion GO with the right settings.

Since the Steam Deck is unable to run the game properly, we will explore the best settings for Stalker 2 on the Asus Rog Ally and Legion GO in this article.
