One of the first side quests that you will stumble upon in the game will require you to find Arc's spyglass. However, do note that this quest is time-sensitive, so you must ensure to finish it quickly.

Arc's spyglass' location in Mario and Luigi Brothership
This game witnesses Mario and Luigi's return to a Nintendo title after almost a decade. It is also speculated to be the last Mario title on Switch, as the Nintendo Switch 2 is in development.
Mario and Luigi Brothership is all about exploration and adventure. This is a turn-based RPG where you can control both Mario and Luigi. As Arc reveals that he lost his spyglass on Raynforst Island, the two brothers leave immediately to find the lost item. Since you have no hints about where to look for the spyglass, you must ask around a little.
As the quest is time-bound, it will be in your best interest to simply skip all this hassle and head over to the other part of the island. You can identify this part by taking a quick look at your map. You will spot two pairs of flowers in the middle of the map — this is where you need to go.
Locate the pair of flowers on the left side and climb up the hill nearby. Here, you will find a few NPCs talking. Approaching them will trigger a fight. Luigi's Green Shell ability will come in handy during the battle as it can take care of multiple enemies at the same time.
There are two attacks that you must look out for: the tongue attack and the one where the Invizilizards will walk towards you in an invisible mode. The counter against both attacks is simply timing your jump.
Once you finish this battle, you will get your hands on Arc's spyglass and you can then return to Arc to finish this quest in Mario and Luigi Brothership. As rewards, you will receive:
- +2 Speed
- +15% EXP during battles. However, you will only receive this if you take zero damage during fights.
