Metaphor ReFantazio walkthrough: How to complete the Deeds and Diversions quest
Across the vast map of Metaphor ReFantazio, players can indulge themselves in a wealth of content even without following the campaign. These include activities such as fishing, participating in debates, clearing optional dungeons, and much more. Among these are Favours, which are side quests that can be undertaken to acquire rewards and equipment.
One such Favor is termed Deeds and Diversions, and can be started in Port Brilehaven by talking to an NPC. Below is a guide on how to complete this side quest.

How to complete Deeds and Diversions Favor in Metaphor ReFantazio
Head over to Nightprowler in Port Brilehaven. An NPC called the Overfamiliar Man standing outside with whom you can engage in dialogue. Talk to him, and he will mention that his precious Deed was taken by a loan vendor, and was not returned even after he paid off his dues.
It is important to note that to continue any further in this Favor, the Superior Scrimshaw quest has to be completed. The Overfamiliar Man will provide a vague clue, which is to look for an Ishkia Noble with words "a certain fondness for, shall we say, bloodsport."
The Noble in question can be found in the Varmareno Coliseum, not too far from the reception desk. If he is approached without completing the other quest, Favor will not proceed as he refuses to speak with the party. Once the necessary requirements have been completed, answer his questions in the following manner:
- “You know me, I trust?”
- “Such a tawdry area, this,”
- “I prefer real fights.”
- "You know the Forsaken Tower?"
- "I'd like the Deed."
The final two options will not unlock without completing the Superior Scrimshaw quest. After the last option has been chosen, he will hand over the all-important Deed over to you. Now, head back to the Overfamiliar Man, and present him with the Deed. For undertaking this endeavor, he will gift you 10,000 Reeves and a Chef's Toque.
