Michael Cole deemed to have started his work for the upcoming WWE 2K16

Cole has started work on WWE 2K16

Just last week we had got confirmation that 2K Games had started working on the upcoming sequel WWE 2K16 (for more information click here) and now in a recent interview, Michael Cole the star commentator of the WWE franchise took up to answering some queries regarding his role in the development of the game.

Cole revealed that in his personal view, the weak link that marred the performance of previous WWE games was the fact that he just recorded his lines that were used in the game in his personal studio. Hence, they lacked the special quality that was necessary to re-create an actual realistic experience for the gamers.

He recorded his lines for WWE 2K15 together with Jerry Lawler that provided the required chemistry that emulated a real life, ring side experience. He expressed his excitement for the upcoming game suggesting that he and Lawler had started recording for the game way back in December 2014.

In regard to the game’s development, Cole discussed that his share of work is double and that the team at 2K Games are hard at work even though the game is still in the early stages of creation. He also discussed that players can look forward to a lot of good material in the game’s commentary since the duo will continue recording new lines for WWE 2K16 every three to four weeks throughout 2015.
