Mortal Kombat 11's Reveal gave fans quite a good bit of information, including the reveal of several characters, a special voice actor for Sonya Blade, and a teaser for the game's story mode. Prior to the event, it was announced that there would be a beta for the 11th installment in the series.

Now, we know when the beta will begin and how to get into it, thanks to PSU.com. If you're wanting to get a taste of what's to come in Mortal Kombat 11, all you need to do is pre-order it.

Below are the two ways to get access to the beta for Mortal Kombat 11:

1) Beta Code: If you're going to buy a physical copy of Mortal Kombat 11, pre-order it at a retailer which is promoting the beta codes. Not all stores will be doing this, so it's important that you ask before you make your purchase. Before the beta's release, you'll be sent a code. You'll be able to redeem it the second it's in your hands, but you won't be able to access the beta until the start date.

2) Online Access: If you pre-order a digital copy, you'll be given access to the beta automatically. You won't have to worry about a beta code.

Sadly, this beta is only for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players, so if you're on the Nintendo Switch or PC, you're out of luck.

If you've got the extra space on your hardware, it's probably better to opt for the digital purchase. However, those, like myself, who prefer to hold a physical copy in their hands will have to search for retailers offering beta keys.

The beta begins on March 28th, 2019, a little less than a month away from the launch of the full game. It's unknown exactly how long the beta will last, so make sure to jump on as quick as possible.
