4Merical Vibes replaces Brute Force in PMGC 2024 Grand Finals
Russia’s Brute Force will not be able to compete in the upcoming Grand Finals of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2024 due to visa issues. The team qualified for the finals after performing impressively in the League Stage. However, since they failed to procure their visas on time, 4Merical Vibes from Mongolia has replaced them in the finale. A total of 16 teams will contest in the Grand Finals, scheduled to be held from December 6 to 8, 2024.
The United Kingdom will host the PMGC 2024 Grand Finals for the first time. The League Stage was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where 48 clubs fought for the 15 spots in the final stage. British organization Guild Esports has received a direct invite to the Grand Finals.
Brute Force to miss PMGC 2024 Finals due to visa issues
On November 30, 2024, PUBG Mobile posted on its social media pages that Brute Force could not secure a visa on time. The company said:
“Dear PUBG Mobile fans, we regret to inform you that Team Brute Force will not be able to participate in the PMGC Grand Finals because they were unable to obtain visa on time. As a result, they will be replaced by Team 4Merical Vibes, who finished seventh in the Last Chance Stage. We appreciate your understanding and continued support.”
In the Group Stage, Brute Force was the top-performing squad in their group and was outstanding throughout their matches. The Russian team featured renowned players like 4YDO, Fr1z3r, Furia, Neoz, and Prepod.
4Merical Vibes, on the other hand, initially missed out on a spot in the Grand Finals as they finished seventh in the League's Last Chance stage. The experienced squad that finished fourth in the PMGC 2023 will now take part in the Grand Finals.

Out of the $3 million prize pool, the League Stage featured $1.58 million, while the Grand Finals boasts $1.42 million. The champions of this 2024 edition will walk away with a huge prize of $400,000.
