Developer Giants Software has announced that Farming Simulator 25 has sold 2 million copies just a week since its launch on November 12, 2024. That said, there will be more to come as the studio intends to support the game going forward. Here are the full details.

Farming Simulator 25 sells 2 million units to become the most successful series launch yet
The official Farming Simulator 25 social media account broke the news recently, thanking players and fans for their support. The developers have asked the fanbase to "stay tuned for upcoming improvements", as the team is working hard to make "new content" available to players as soon as possible.
Running on the latest GIANTS 10 engine, it is the most advanced series entry yet that promises to deliver the most immersive and realistic FarmSim experience in the franchise's history. Farming Simulator's first entry was released back in 2008, and the series has since been launched across a wide variety of platforms, including PC, consoles, handhelds, and smartphones.
With the game peaking at a little over 135,000 players on Steam over the past few days, fans naturally expect more to come. However, when it comes to criticism of Farming Simulator 25, players have reported bugs, gameplay shortcomings, missing quality-of-life features, poor UI, and more, on the Steam storefront. As a result, some fans consider it to be a step down from Farming Simulator 22, the last PC release from the series.
That said, developer Giants Software still has a roadmap laid out for the game, including new content that will be dropped over the course of next year (on top of expected visual and technical tweaks and fixes).
Farming Simulator 25 is available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
