Honkai Star Rail 2.7 to giveaway free 5-star character selector Express Gift to all players

The Honkai Star Rail 2.7 livestream officially commenced on November 22, 2024, revealing all the exciting contents of the next patch. One of the highlights from the telecast was the Express Gift announcement. It appears that after the version 2.7 update, players can use the token once to obtain any 5-star of their choice from the standard banner.

Honkai Star Rail announces a free 5-star character selector for version 2.7

The Honkai Star Rail community is in for a ride, as the version 2.7 update will bring in multiple compelling contests, including the free 5-star character selector. The Express Gift will not be applicable to the limited banner units, meaning players can only obtain the following characters from the standard warp:

Bailu (Path of Abundance, Lightning)
Bronya (Path of Harmony, Wind)
Clara (Path of Destruction, Physical)
Gepard (Path of Preservation, Ice)
Himeko (Path of Erudition, Fire)
Welt (Path of Nihility, Imaginary)
Yanqing (Path of The Hunt, Ice)

This free 5-star character giveaway might not benefit veterans, but newcomers will have a strong unit to begin their astral journey. Speaking of which, the Honkai Star Rail livestream revealed that the Express Gift will be available after the version 2.7 update and until version 3.2 ends.

There’s no requirement to use the free 5-star character selector. Therefore, all players should be able to access the giveaway as long as they join the game before it expires.

When it comes to recruiting characters in version 2.7, Trailblazers can spend their hard-earned Stellar Jades on the limited banners to summon Sunday throughout the first phase. The second half of the patch will feature Fugue's warp.
