The Honkai Star Rail 2.7 drip marketing campaign revealed Fugue as the playable 5-star unit from the Fire element. She is also confirmed to be a follower of the Nihility Path, so her primary role will be to debuff enemies and enable teammates to deal extra damage.

Here's a detailed breakdown of Fugue's kit and their in-game interactions, based on the leaked footage shared by Dimbreath:

Basic ATK

Launches a flaming projectile dealing Fire DMG to a single target. Fugue also has access to an enhanced Basic ATK, where she fires multiple projectiles toward the enemy.

Skill

Upon activating the Skill, Fugue marks a designated ally, granting them the “Foxian Prayer” effect. At the same time, she enters the Torrid Scorch state to unleash the enhanced attack. The “Foxian Prayer” mark increases the target ally’s Break Effect and reduces the DEF of the enemy they hit.

Ultimate

Fugue uses her nine tails to launch a powerful attack dealing Fire DMG to every enemy on the battlefield. This instance of the attack will ignore Weakness-type targets and reduce their Toughness.

When it comes to Fugue’s in-game look, she doesn't really appear any different from her 4-star incarnation. HoYoverse has changed her apparel slightly while keeping it consistent with the black and red theme. Her outfit is now bulkier with a prominent belt and hand ornaments.

Trailblazers can see Fugue's nine tails during combat, which have a distinct white hue, unlike Tingyun. The 5-star version also has prominent attack animations compared to the accessible counterpart.
