Honkai Star Rail to patch 'abnormal' buff to Abundance Light Cone
After the release of Honkai Star Rail version 2.6, Light Cone Quid Pro Quo's unique effect hasn't been working as intended and is granting some abnormal buffs to the party. Players had been praising HoYoverse, the developer, thinking it was a secret buff. However, the developer has stated that this is a bug and will soon be patched.

HoYoverse set to fix unintentional buff to Quid Pro Quo in Honkai Star Rail
As mentioned earlier, Quid Pro Quo received an unintentional buff alongside the launch of Honkai Star Rail version 2.6. The buff affected most Abundance characters, especially Huohuo. As detailed in the unique effect of the Light Cone, it grants a decent amount of Energy regeneration to any allies in the same party, excluding the wearer. Post-buff, the wearer can also become a target of the buffs, allowing them to regenerate more Energy.
Soon after players discovered this change, they speculated it to be a hidden buff as the Honkai Star Rail version 2.6 patch notes did not mention this change at all. Moreover, HoYoverse recently clarified that this change is not intentional and Quid Pro Quo will be reverted back to its original state in the next patch. Since it did not disable the LC, players can still use it and get the extra benefits until a fix rolls in.
Apart from Huohuo, Gallagher can also use this Light Cone and get some additional Energy from its unique effect. However, now that the chances of getting the buff have become 0.25% instead of the usual 0.33%, getting buffing your desired character has become a little more hard. While this is a buff for the Light Cone, it also received an indirect nerf.
As per the officials, this is a bug and will be fixed soon. It is not known whether the players will be compensated with Stellar Jades after it's patched. Since HoYoverse usually compensates gamers for most major bug fixes, fans must wait and see what will happen.
