MLBB M6 World Championship Swiss Stage Day 2: Results and summary
Day 2 of the MLBB M6 World Championship Swiss Stage was hosted on November 29, 2024. All 16 participating clubs took part in their Round 2 matches. The four teams who have won both their previous matches will play in Round 3: High (2-0). Meanwhile, the eight teams who have won one out of their two games will take part in Round 3: Mid (1-1). The four teams who have lost both of their two games will compete in Round 3: Low (0-2).
A total of 16 MLBB teams from around the world are fighting in the Swiss Stage for eight spots in the Knockout. 15 of them have been chosen directly from regional competitions, while one team has qualified from the Wildcard Stage. This international event is being held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Day 2 overview of MLBB M6 World Championship Swiss Stage
In Round 2: High (1-0)
BloodthirstyKings maintained its consistency and hammered Turkey’s S2G Esports. Its key player, Shark, was impressive in this game. Twisted Minds also had a great run, as the club defeated Falcon Esports thanks to Saano’s thumping performance.
Fnatic Optic faced CFU Gaming on Day 2, and managed to win the battle by a scoreline of 1-0. Its renowned athlete Super Frince was the MVP of this encounter. RRQ Hoshi, from Indonesia, delivered a phenomenal performance against Russia’s Team Spirit and won the match. One of its players, Skylar, was the top individual performer in this battle.
Round 2: Low (0-1)
Team Vamos bounced back in Round 2 and clinched its first win in this MLBB event against Maycam Evolve. The club had lost its match against Twisted Minds in Round 1.
NIP Flash also made a great comeback and defeated Aurora Gaming. Popular Indonesian squad Team Liquid also enhanced its performance in Round 2, beating KeepBest Gaming. Its star player, Aran, displayed impressive skill in this round.
Selangor Red Giants, the MLBB MSC 2024 winner, bounced back after its disappointing run in Round 1, and secured its victory against Ulfhednar. One of its athletes, Innocent, played well and became the MVP of this encounter. Ulfhednar, who was the top performer of the Wildcard Stage, lost its second match of the Swiss Stage.
These 16 teams will now contest in Round 3 starting on November 30, 2024. The Swiss Stage will continue until December 5, 2024. The four teams who have lost both their previous matches will aim to bounce back in the upcoming round.
