Nepal’s DRS Gaming eliminated from PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2024

Popular Nepali team DRS Gaming has been eliminated from the ongoing PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2024 after failing to perform well in Group Green. The club were the runners-up in PMGC 2022 but failed to perform well this season. The squad ranked 13th in the overall standings of the group with 104 points. Only the top 11 teams from the group secured their spots in the next stages of the event, while the bottom five were knocked out of the competition.

The Group Stage of the PMGC 2024 League ended on November 17. So far, 10 teams have been confirmed for the Grand Finals. The top three teams from each of the three groups have made it to the Finale, while those placed from 4th to 11th from each group have qualified for the Survival Stage.

The Nepali organization was part of Group Green in the group stage. Each team from the group played 24 matches from November 14 to 17, 2024. DRS Gaming had a horrid start to the event, scoring only 16 points in their first six matches to finish at the bottom of the overall rankings.

The team failed to improve their performance on Day 2 and remained in the last spot with 33 points. The team claimed 18 kills and 15 placement points in their first 12 matches of PMGC 2024.

DRS Gaming started the third day on a positive note and won the first match. They added 33 points in their six matches on Day 3. The team moved up to 15th place in the overall standings with 74 points, including 41 eliminations.

On Day 4, DRS Gaming again played well in their first game and secured their second Chicken Dinner of PMGC 2024. The Nepal-based club accumulated 104 points after completing their 24 matches. The team fell short by eight points to qualify for the next stage.

RRQ, Alliance, CAG, and Team Secret from Group Green also failed to qualify for the next stage. They will now prepare themselves for the PUBG Mobile 2025 season.

Brute Force were the star performers of Group Green, topping the leaderboard with 187 points. Influence Rage (181) and ThunderTalk (178) were second and third, respectively. Dplus KIA had an outstanding start to the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2024 but failed to maintain consistency over the last three days and slipped to fourth place.
