VTuber MOTHERv3 banned on Twitch for engaging in "fraudulent activity"

Twitch has indefinitely banned English-speaking VTuber MOTHERv3, marking the first ban of her career. The news was first shared by the verified ban tracker account, Streamer Bans (@StreamerBans), on December 20, 2024. The VTuber later took to her X account (@MOTHER_v3) to reveal the reason behind the suspension.

The streamer shared a screenshot of the message sent by Twitch, which mentioned "Fraud" as the reason behind the suspension. The message added:

"Based on a review of your activity or content, we have issued a global suspension on your account. Due to the severe nature of this violation, or the fact that you have incurred multiple violations, your access to Twitch services are indefinitely restricted."

VTuber MOTHERv3 says the violation occurred due to "purchases"

Twitch streamer and VTuber MOTHERv3 has been indefinitely banned from the platform. According to the official notice sent by Tiwtch, the suspension was due to alleged "fraudulent activities."

The VTuber has also shared an additional X post, revealing that the precise cause of the ban was related to her "purchases." While she didn’t explain the nature of the purchases, she mentioned that she would be putting in an appeal. She wrote the following:

"They said that the violation occurred in purchases, putting in appeal right now."
