Wuthering Waves nominated for Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards 2024
Kuro Games' open-world RPG Wuthering Waves has been nominated in the Best Mobile Game category at The Game Awards 2024. This is a ceremony that is held annually to felicitate the best games of the year. Wuthering Waves nominated at The Game Awards 2024
As announced during The Game Awards nominee announcement livestream broadcast on November 18, 2024, Wuthering Waves has been nominated for The Game Awards 2024 in the "Best Mobile Game" category. While the latest title from Kuro Games has collected nominations from quite a few award shows held previously this year, this is their first The Game Awards nomination.
Other nominees in this category include HoYoverse's Zenless Zone Zero, and other titles such as AFK Journey, Balatro, and Pokemon TCGP. All nominees for The Game Awards are selected via an international jury comprising several media outlets. Meanwhile, winners are selected by a joint vote of both the jury and public fan votes.
HoYoverse's Honkai Star Rail had been nominated in the Best Mobile Game category at The Game Awards in 2023 and the title took home the award as well. This year, neither Honkai Star Rail nor Hoyoverse's most popular title Genshin Impact have managed to secure any nominations.
