Zenless Zone Zero 1.4 leaks hint at new Drive Discs
The Zenless Zone Zero 1.4 update will feature new characters, namely Harumasa and Yanagi, as revealed via the latest drip marketing campaign. Furthermore, the closed beta leaks from Flying Flame have hinted at two new Drive Disks that will potentially complement the upcoming agent’s kit. Here are more details about the ZZZ 1.4 Drive Discs, including their effects and suitable characters.
Silent Listening Melody Drive Disc
- 2-piece set effect: Increases Attack by 10%.
- 4-piece set effect: When any team member enters the field through Quick Assist, the entire team gains a layer of Melody for a few seconds, stacking up to three times. Repeated triggers refresh the duration. Each layer of Melody stack increases the character’s damage by 8% when they enter the battle through Quick Assist.
The Silent Listening Melody Drive Disc could benefit Harumasa, as he is expected to take on the role of a rotational DPS as an attack agent. Anton is another agent who excels at Quick Assist, so he should be able to effectively utilize the Melody stack.

Broken Branch Sword Song Drive Disc
- 2-piece set effect: Increases attack by 10%.
- 4-piece set effect: When the equipping character’s Anomaly Mastery is greater than or equal to 115 points, their CRIT DMG is increased by 25%. When any team member applies Freeze or triggers Shatter on an enemy, the wearer's attack is increased by 15% for 15 seconds.
There’s currently no Ice Anomaly character in ZZZ’s roster that could use the Broken Branch Sword Song Drive Disc. That said, Miyabi could be the one to wield this equipment since she can apply Freeze and Shatter on enemies, based on her closed beta kit. Perhaps, she will be a hybrid Anomaly character who could benefit from the hefty CRIT DMG buff from Broken Branch Sword Song.
