PC version of WWE 2K15 to release this spring

WWE 2K15 PC version will receive all of the games DLC for free

According to a recent announcement by WWE Games, WWE 2K15 will now be making its way to the PC platform this spring, almost five months after its release last year. 2K Games have stated that the PC version will include all the features which make the console version so great, such as the MyCareer and 2K Showcase modes.

Gamers who purchase the PC version of WWE 2K15 on the first day of its release will get two versions of Sting and Hulk Hogan for free. The PC version will also receive free DLC content in spring, which includes both the NXT and WCW DLC packs as well as recently released showcase modes, such as Hall of Pain, One More Match, and Path of the Warrior. This seems a tad bit unfair for console gamers, who had to purchase this content.

Cena excited about the game’s release

WWE wrestler and cover star, John Cena, had the following to say regarding the DLC content being free.

“One of the great bonuses of getting the game on PC is that you get nearly all of the downloadable content that was released after WWE 2K15 launched in October free, as part of the package. That’s an incredible amount of content: 36 extra characters, 4 new managers, 26 matches, 46 entire single player stories and cut scenes in 2K Showcase, and a whole lot more. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that that’s a pretty awesome deal.”

Cena was a huge PC Gamer growing up, and he seemed pretty excited about the games PC release.

He said, “I grew up playing games on my PC. Texas Instruments, Commodore 64. I was a huge PC gamer growing up, so this is big. Not only for our fans, but for me personally as well. Fans may not know this, but I was such a huge PC gamer that I bought a living room entertainment system just to play PC games back in the day. So don’t be surprised if you flash forward 50 years and yours truly is sitting in his living room playing computer games!”

WWE 2K15 is available now for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
