Romancing SaGa 2 Revenge of the Seven: Where to buy LP potions
Romancing SaGa 2 features a permadeath system, but LP Potions—also known as Anima Draught—can help you a little with that. Each time a character dies, they lose an LP point. If they take more damage while KO-ed, they lose even more LP. If you hit 0, they die and leave the party permanently. While that character will likely return after enough generations have passed, losing them can be a serious blow to your party.
Thankfully, all is not lost in this remake of one of the classic entries in the SaGa franchise. You can purchase LP Potions in Romancing SaGa 2. However, there’s a catch—they aren’t cheap, and they are limited. Here’s what you need to know.

How to get LP Potions (Anima Draught) in Romancing SaGa 2
You can purchase LP Potions in Romancing SaGa 2, by unlocking the Witch’s Sanctum in South Longit. It’s hard to say when this will unlock, as SaGa 2 is an open-ended game. That said, the method will be the same. You are required to take a few boat trips and have access to the southern portions of the map. We took a boat from the following cities:
- Somon
- Miramar
- Moblem
- Atlanticus
It could take you several hours and generations of gameplay to get this far. When you’ve reached Atlanticus, you can start a quest to find the identity of the mysterious dancer, but if you simply want LP Potions in Romancing SaGa 2, you don’t have to do that.
Head to the house on the hill. Go up the steps, enter the house, and speak to the woman—she’ll mention a witch in a nearby cave. This unlocks Witch’s Sanctum.
There are enemies here, but as you can see in the above map, you don’t have to go too far to find her. You can also find one of the memories of the Seven Heroes in this dungeon, which can be seen on the map as well. Enter her home, and she’ll offer to sell you an item that restores BP or LP at 10,000 gold each.
The most important thing is that there is a finite amount of these, but it isn’t clear how many you can buy. It is likely to be around 20. Use them sparingly, because once she runs out, she won’t sell you any more until you enter New Game+.
