All factions from Stalker 2
The main protagonist of the story is Skif, who is a Stalker in this post-apocalyptic land. As you explore the incredibly large map of Stalker 2, you will stumble upon various factions, and they are as follows:
Bandits: As the name suggests, this faction comprises criminals who are scattered all around the map and always hiding from the authorities. Even though they aren't the main villains, they will be a problem every once in a while.
Duty: They are the military group of Stalkers whose intention is to protect mankind and destroy the Zone.
Ecologists: They are on the Ukranian Government's payroll and are researching the various creatures in the Zone. Their aim is to improve the lives of mankind.
Freedom: This faction consists of independent Stalkers who aim to win independence from the government rule and make the Zone a better place to live. However, they are considered a threat to the government.
The Loners: Stalkers who aren't associated with any faction are referred to as Loners. They just roam around the map to find useful resources they call sell or exchange for survival.
Mercenaries: They are private military contractors and one of the biggest threats to Skif. Unfortunately, the identity of the head of these mercenaries is still a secret.
Military: They work for the Ukrainian Government and have to ensure people stay out of the Zone as much as possible.
Monolith: This religious cult will instantly kill anyone who isn't a member of their faction. They're looking for an alien crystal they believe is in the Chornobyl area.
Noon: Not much information is available about this faction yet. However, they will play a crucial role in Stalker 2 and will be a direct opponent of the Monolith faction.
SIRCAA: Led by Doctor Dalin, this is another group funded by the Ukrainian Government and intent on studying in-depth the anomalies found within the Zone. However, they are also alleged of illegal human rights breaching experiments.
The Ward: This will be another new faction in Stalker 2. While not much is known about this faction yet, remember that they are heavily armed and should not be messed with. The leader of this faction is Colonel Alexander Korshunov.
Spark: This new faction will be featured for the first time in Stalker 2. The leader of the group is Scar, who is also a protagonist of Stalker: Clear Sky. The people of Spark oppose the activities of SIRCAA and the Ward.
