Stalker 2 walkthrough: How to complete Just Business side mission

Just Business in Stalker 2 is an interesting side mission that can be accessed in the Rostok region. Its primary objective is to track down and eliminate a bandit group in the Red Forest. However, you also need to find a missing Freedom group that Myklukha sent after the bandits. Completing the mission will grant you an exceptional helmet.

This guide walks you through the Just Business side mission in Stalker 2.

Just Business side mission in Stalker 2: Location

You must travel to the Rostok region and navigate to its base camp to access the Just Business side mission. Interact with Barkeep (trader) who's located underground, and choose the prompt "Any special jobs for me?"

Following that, Barkeep will let you know that a leader named Myklukha is offering a bounty to eliminate a bandit group. Also, the group he sent earlier is missing. Accepting the mission tasks you with getting info about the missing group and killing the bandits in Red Forest.

Just Business side mission in Stalker 2: Walkthrough

First, head northwest and reach the blue objective marker that indicates the missing Freedom group. It is located in the Red Forest region. As you are near the large warehouse, you will hear a voice calling for help. Get inside, and find Carl Clinch lying on the ground in a locker room. Use a medkit to heal him up.

Carl is one of the missing members of the Freedom group. After helping him, he will give you a key to access the tunnels. If you follow that way, it will be easier to deal with the bandits.

Go to the warehouse's second floor, and open the door using Carl's key. Jump down, and proceed through the underground tunnel. You also have to dodge the poisonous gas on the way. After following the road going upwards, you will encounter a bandit. Use a silenced weapon to kill him.

Afterward, proceed forward and use the ladder to go up. At this point, the bandit group will spot you and start shooting at you. Evade their attacks and run to the area where you will see a lot of red containers.

One of the red containers has a yellow mark on it. Jump on top of it, and break the obstacles to fall from the other side. With that, a mutant named Pseudogiant will go rogue and eliminate the bandits in that area.

Later you can kill the mutant to acquire the Electronic Collar, which will complete the "Examine the Pseudogiant's corpse" optional objective in this mission. It is also a required item for the "In the Name of Science" side mission in Stalker 2.

Note: Sometimes getting on top of the red container doesn't trigger the Pseudogiant's attack. So, it's recommended to create a save file before getting out of the tunnel.

Although most of the bandits will be dead, you may have to enter the warehouse and kill Boss to fulfill the objective. He is usually seen on the upstairs railing. After dealing with the bandits, you can return to Barkeep in the Rostok base camp. Report the situation to get the Sphere M20 Helmet as a reward. It's a great headwear to deal with physical and radiation damage.
