Step 1: Reach the Energetik Palace of Culture to begin The Road to the Foundation mission

Your journey for The Road to the Foundation begins at the Energetik Palace of Culture, where you’ll meet Colonel Degtyarev and uncover the next steps to finding the mysterious Foundation.

What to do:

  • Travel carefully to the Palace: The streets are swarming with Monolith patrols and mutants. Use stealth to minimize combat and conserve resources.
  • Assist friendly stalkers: Upon arrival, you’ll find them engaged in combat with Monolith forces. Help clear the area to earn their trust.
  • Meet Colonel Degtyarev: Inside, Degtyarev and Richter brief you on the mission. You’ll learn that direct access to the Foundation is blocked due to heavy mutant infestations. They suggest investigating two possible intel locations:
