While some weapons in Apex Legends, such as sniper rifles, Wingman, and even marksman rifles, can open unmanned doors, never has a weapon had the power to entirely knock them down. Of course, this new feature is an absolute game-changer.

The Charge Rifle had recently been reworked, and since it became a projectile-based weapon, its popularity had dipped down. Previously, it was one of the most sought-after sniper rifles in the game, but this change has made it one of the hardest weapons to use and master. To counteract this, the developers have incorporated this door-breaking feature in hopes of boosting its popularity.

With this new feature, players now have an extremely powerful tool in their hands. The Charge Rifle is quite accurate in close-medium range combat, and with the added ability to break doors, players will now have much better control when it comes to destroying usable cover for enemies. Whether it's in the early-game stages or the final ring, a capable sharpshooter can dismantle your entire game plan by shooting out doorways of the building you might be holed up in.

We believe this change to the Charge Rifle is quite a positive one, and with it, we expect the weapon's pick rate to go up by a significant margin. It still has quite a high skill ceiling to master, but in the right hands, can wreak havoc on the battlefield.
