Watch: FIFA 17 predicts what would happen if N'Golo Kante stayed at Leicester City

Defending champions Leicester City were on top of the world, as they clinched the Premier League in the most unlikely of fashions. No one expected them to even qualify for Europe, but Claudio Ranieri's men put on show the true essence of football.

Many consider their title win to be one of the finest achievements in English football history. From surprising football fans to the media and even the bookies, Leceister City's title win will go down in history as one of the best stories.

However, it has been a massive fall from grace for the Foxes, who are currently 11th in the Premier League. The only silver lining is that they are still in the Champions League and face Atletico Madrid in the quarter-finals.

At the start of the 2016-17 season, rumours were flying around over French midfielder N'Golo Kante's imminent departure to a top English club. The rumours turned to reality when Antonio Conte convinced the player to make the switch to Stamford Bridge.

Since Kante left Leicester, the club has turned upside down. Claudio Ranieri was sacked and at a point in time, the club was destined for relegation. The French midfielder played a vital role in their dominant midfield, which he has done for Chelsea so far as well.

The player is currently being hailed as arguably the best defensive midfielder in the world.

American YouTuber, BMOnus is famous for his FIFA 17 experiments. He tries to use the game to simulate outcomes that solve the 'what-if' scenarios that cannot be answered in real life. In this specific video, he tries to find out how Leicester City would fare if they still had Kante in their ranks.

The video kicks off with him stating that ideally, the club should retain the top-four spot, but nothing should actually stop them from a title challenge if they have a decent transfer window.

He starts the game playing as the manager of Chelsea, but he doesn't play a single game. He simulates the game to the season's half-way point, and Leicester sits comfortably in the 4th spot after 19 games.

They have a three-point lead over fourth-placed Liverpool. Kante individually has been in good form. His overall also increases by a single point. He then simulates to the first of June as the season comes to an end. Watch the video to find out how FIFA 17 predicts the Premier League table if Kante had not made the switch.
