Wuthering Waves 2.0 weapons leak: New upcoming 5-stars, 4-stars, stats and effects

Recent leaks about the Wuthering Waves 2.0 update have disclosed plenty of information regarding the upcoming weapons that will be added to the game. These include the signature 5-star weapons of the characters Carlotta and Roccia (who will be released in version 2.0), as well as some other new 4-star weapons. Wuthering Waves 2.0 is scheduled to go live across all servers on January 2, 2025, and will introduce a lot of new content to the game (such as a new region, characters, events, gameplay mechanics, and more).

This article discusses the leaks regarding the new weapons that might be available in the game with the release of the new region in Wuthering Waves 2.0.

New weapons in Wuthering Waves 2.0, as per leaks

Various leakers within the community — such as Hakush.in, WuWa Land and Wuthering Waves Leaks — have disclosed information regarding some of the possible upcoming 5-star and 4-star weapons in Wuthering Waves 2.0.

The 5-star weapons are signature weapons belonging to the two new characters who will be released in version 2.0 — Carlotta and Roccia. As for the 4-star weapons, the leaks only hint at their stats and effects, with no available information (yet) on how to obtain them.

Carlotta's signature weapon: Death and Dance

The new 5-star Pistol called Death and Dance is most likely to be Carlotta's signature weapon, as per leaks. It has the following main stats:

• Base ATK: 500
• Secondary stat: 72% CRIT DMG
• Passive effect: Increases the user's attack by 12% / 15% / 18% / 21% / 24%. When an Intro Skill or Resonance Liberation is cast, the user's Resonance Skill DMG Bonus is increased by 48% / 60% / 72% / 84% / 96%, lasting for a duration of 5 seconds. Using an Intro Skill/Resonance Liberation again refreshes this duration.

The passive effect of this weapon implies that Carlotta might be a Resonance Skill-based DPS, as this weapon increases Resonance Skill DMG Bonus by quite a bit.

Roccia's signature weapon: Tragicomedy

Roccia's signature weapon is a 5-star Gauntlet called Tragicomedy. It has the following stats and passive effects:

• Base ATK: 588
• Secondary stat: 24.3% CRIT Rate
• Passive effect: Increases the user's attack by 12% / 15% / 18% / 21% / 24%. When using a Basic ATK or an Intro Skill, Resonance Skill DMG Bonus is increased by 48% / 60% / 72% / 84% / 96%, lasting for 3 seconds. Using a Basic ATK/Intro Skill again refreshes this duration.

Tragicomedy's passive effect is somewhat similar to Death and Dance's. The CRIT Rate stat and the ATK buff on this weapon make it a good stat stick for DPS/sub-DPS Gauntlet users.

Apart from Carlotta and Roccia's signature weapons, leakers have also disclosed some new 4-star weapon options that will be added in Wuthering Waves 2.0. These are:

1) The Pretense of the Waltz (4-star Rectifier)

• Base ATK: 463
• Secondary stat: 18.23% ATK
• Passive effect: When dealing damage to enemies who have the Abnormal Effect, the user's attack increases by 4% / 5% / 6% / 7% / 8% for a duration of 10 seconds. This effect can be triggered once per second, and can stack up to a total of 4 times.

2) Drunken Hero's Will (4-star Gauntlets)

• Base ATK: 463
• Secondary stat: 18.23% ATK
• Passive effect: When dealing damage to enemies who have the Abnormal Effect, the user's attack increases by 4% / 5% / 6% / 7% / 8% for a duration of 10 seconds. This effect can be triggered once per second, and can stack up to a total of 4 times.

3) Narrative Romance (4-star Pistol)

• Base ATK: 463
• Secondary stat: 18.23% ATK
• Passive effect: When dealing damage to enemies who have the Abnormal Effect, the user's attack increases by 4% / 5% / 6% / 7% / 8% for a duration of 10 seconds. This effect can be triggered once per second, and can stack up to a total of 4 times.

4) Flirtatious Fable Poem (4-star Sword)

• Base ATK: 463
• Secondary stat: 18.23% ATK
• Passive effect: When dealing damage to enemies who have the Abnormal Effect, the user's attack increases by 4% / 5% / 6% / 7% / 8% for a duration of 10 seconds. This effect can be triggered once per second, and can stack up to a total of 4 times.

5) The Penance of Mercy (4-star Broadblade)

• Base ATK: 463
• Secondary stat: 18.23% ATK
• Passive effect: When dealing damage to enemies who have the Abnormal Effect, the user's attack increases by 4% / 5% / 6% / 7% / 8% for a duration of 10 seconds. This effect can be triggered once per second, and can stack up to a total of 4 times.

Since all five weapons listed above have the same stats and passive effects, they might be craftable.

6) Echoes of the Abyss (4-star Rectifier)

• Base ATK: 338
• Secondary stat: 51.84% Energy Regeneration
• Passive effect: After casting Resonance Liberation, healing effects are increased by 16% / 20% / 24% / 28% / 32%, lasting for 15 seconds.

The secondary stat and passive effect of this Rectifier imply that this could be a free-to-play weapon for The Shorekeeper and other healer units such as Baizhi and Verina.
