Zenless Zone Zero 1.3 banner release dates
The Zenless Zone Zero version 1.3 livestream premiered on October 25, 2024, revealing the banner order for the upcoming update. HoYoverse has announced that Tsukishiro Yanagi and Lighter will be debuting as the new S-Rank playable characters in v1.3. Moreover, their signature W-Engines will also be released.

Phase 1: November 6, 2024
- Tsukishiro Yanagi (S-Rank Electric Anomaly)
- Timeweaver (S-Rank Anomaly)
Phase 2: November 27, 2024
- Lighter (S-Rank Fire Stun)
- Blazing Laurel (S-Rank Stun)
The version 1.3 Special Program livestream announced that Tsukishiro Yanagi and her signature W-Engine, Timeweaver, will be featured during the first half of the ZZZ 1.3 update and will be released worldwide on November 6, 2024. Yanagi is the Deputy Chief of Hollow Special Operations Section 6 and will be an Anomaly character with the Electric attribute.
As for the second half, which will be released on November 27, 2024, Lighter and his signature W-Engine, Blazing Laurel, will become available to players. He is from the Sons of Calydon faction and is revealed to be a Stun character with the Fire attribute.
Yanagi and Lighter gameplay details
Tsukishiro Yanagi
Tsukishiro Yanagi is an Anomaly Agent and wields a naginata. She performs quick slash attacks to deal Electric damage. Her special attacks allow her to change her stance, which in turn changes her moves. The stance change also affects the buffs.
Similarly, her EX special attack also changes her stance. Under its effects, she can perform powerful dash and plunge attacks. For her ultimate, Yanagi performs a flurry of slashes with her naginata dealing significant damage.
Lighter
Lighter is a Stun Agent that punches enemies with his fiery fists. He lets out a flurry of punches on his enemies to Stun them. Moreover, he can reduce the enemy's Fire and Ice resistance, making him a strong ally for damage dealers of those elements.
As for Lighter's Ultimate, he punches the ground with a fiery fist dealing damage and dazing foes in a considerable AoE.
