2024 F1 Las Vegas GP: Where to watch, timings, all you need to know
After the triple-header in the US Austin, Mexico, and Brazil, F1 returns from a two-week break to race in the 2024 F1 Las Vegas GP. This will be the second race in the entertainment capital of the world after its return in 2023.
The three back-to-back F1 races were quite thrilling where Max Verstappen and Lando Norris continued to battle for the drivers' world championship. The Ferrari drivers, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, picked up race wins in Austin and Mexico, respectively.
Max Verstappen had a poor race in Mexico. As he finished P6, this gave second-placed Norris a boost in the championship table. In the Brazilian GP, however, the Red Bull driver showcased a masterclass performance in extremely wet conditions and managed to win the race from P17. Since Lando Norris and other top drivers were unable to bag a decent result, it allowed Verstappen to extend his lead in the drivers' championship.
While the Dutchman has a high chance of winning the drivers' championship in 2024, the same cannot be said for his team. Red Bull are currently third in the championship and are chasing McLaren and Ferrari. The British team drastically closed the gap to the defending world champions and overtook them with the help of both Norris and Piastri.
With only three races to go in the 2024 F1 season, the Las Vegas GP, Qatar GP, and Abu Dhabi GP, the fight in the constructors' championship table will intensify.
