“I need you all to shut up”: Franco Colapinto’s agent blasts fans criticizing him after hanging out with China Suarez

Franco Colapinto's manager, Jamie Campbell-Walter, recently blasted F1 fans for criticizing the Argentine for hanging out with China Suarez in Madrid. This response came after many fans felt this connection could hamper the Argentine's racing career.

Before the 2024 F1 Las Vegas GP, several clips surfaced on X showcasing Colapinto roaming around Madrid with Argentine supermodel, China Suarez. Notably, her full name is María Eugenia Suárez Riveiro and she is an actress, singer, and model.

The reason behind F1 fans criticizing the Williams driver for hanging out with Suarez was because of the latter's controversial past. Rumors said that both could be dating and that this relationship could hurt Colapinto.

She has been married twice, to Nicholas Cabre and Benjamin Vicuna, and has three children with them, her first with Cabre and two with Vicuna. Apart from that, Suarez has been involved in several relationship scandals with Wanda Nara and Mauro Icardi.

Following this, Franco Colapinto's manager, Jamie Campbell-Walter, recently blasted F1 fans for creating a whirlwind of rumors and negativity around the Argentine driver. He strongly asked the followers to stop giving their opinions and insulting Colapinto. He added that everyone makes mistakes and assured that the rookie F1 driver will learn from this soon.

"Listen carefully because I will only say this once. Stop with your opinions, stop with your insults and stop telling us how we should do our job. I will deal with it and I don’t need anymore comments. I was here long before any of you supporting Franco and will be here long after. Everyone makes mistakes and he will learn from them. Let’s focus on Vegas and racing, but to do that, I need you all to shut up," Campbell-Walter wrote on X.

Franco Colapinto's quick rise to fame and spotlight in F1

After Logan Sargeant crashed hard at the 2024 F1 Dutch GP, it was the last blow that tipped the American out of the Williams seat. The British team decided to replace Sargeant with their junior driver, Franco Colapinto.

After Colapinto replaced Sargeant in the middle of the 2024 season, he did not waste any time showcasing his talent in F1. The spotlight quickly turned towards the young Argentine and anything he did on or off-track was carefully analyzed by F1 pundits and fans alike.

Apart from that, other top teams started scouting him and considering him as their potential future driver. Recent rumors suggest that Red Bull could be looking towards Colapinto as a worthy candidate and teammate to Max Verstappen.

Despite participating in relatively fewer races than Sargeant, Franco Colapinto was able to score five points. He currently stands in 19th place in the drivers' championship.
