Jeremy Clarkson presents Oscar Piastri’s farm maneuver epic fail
McLaren's Oscar Piastri has shared a video of him failing to maneuver a tractor on former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson's Oxfordshire farm. Piastri spent time driving farm vehicles after a triple-header in the Americas.
F1 drivers are on a short break before the last two Grand Prix. Piastri hung out with the popular Top Gear and Grand Tour host and posted glimpses on his official X account. In a video, Clarkson shows Piastri struggling to reverse a tractor with a big trailer inside the shed as he talks to his farming assistant, Kaleb Cooper:
"Hello, I'm Jeremy Clarkson, and behind me in that tractor, that is Oscar Piastri. We wanted to see if he can reverse that trailer into that slot in the barn. How long has he been doing this, 40 minutes?"
The 23-year-old racer acknowledged his struggles in the accompanying tweet.
"Not sure Piastri’s farm will be happening any time soon," Oscar Piastri wrote.
After hosting Top Gear and Grand Tour, Clarkson starred in his series Clarkson's Farm, which featured him working on expanding his farm. His video with Piastri may be seen by fans as a chance that the F1 star might appear as a guest in an upcoming episode, though there is no confirmation.
Oscar Piastri's mother has a humorous reply to his post from Jeremy Clarkson's farm
McLaren driver Oscar Piastri's mother Nicole is active on social media and is loved by F1 fans for her humorous replies and opinions. She replied to her son's official X post in which Jeremy Clarkson shows the F1 driver failing to reverse a trailer:
"Clarkson’s Farm is grandad’s favorite show, Oscar. He will be so excited to watch this episode!! (we just won’t tell him about your trailer-backing skills - or lack thereof)"
Nicole's tweet has gone viral and received over nine thousand likes and multiple retweets and replies.
Piastri's 2024 season was excellent. He won his first two races in his second season. He continues challenging the likes of Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz, and table leader Max Verstappen. However, the McLaren driver struggled to keep up with top drivers and finished P8 in Mexico and Brazil.
