Kelly Piquet shares an adorable picture of her and Max Verstappen's new cat Donatello

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen's girlfriend Kelly Piquet shared an adorable picture of her and the Dutch driver's new cat Donatello on her social media. The three-time world champion is known for his ruthless personality in the F1 paddock but in his off-track demeanor, he has a relaxed and laidback lifestyle.

Verstappen resides in his Monaco apartment with his girlfriend and her daughter, along with his two cats named Sassy and Jimmy. He tends to keep a low profile but does share some of his personal life on his live streams on Twitch from time to time.

Kelly Piquet, who has been going out with Max Verstappen for the last four years, shared a series of pictures on her social media, which included an adorable one of Donatello, the Dutch driver's new cat.

Max Verstappen, in one of his streams last year, had spoken about the time when he had to break his door after one of his cats was stuck inside for hours. He said, via Express:

“I lost one cat for like three or four hours, I didn’t know where it was. I was walking around and suddenly the cat started meowing behind a door so I was like, ‘Oh dear! It was a little closet room so it’s only a one-way entrance. I’m trying to open the door but the door didn’t want to open because a baby bed had fallen down behind the door in the storage room.
"I tried everything so I had to make a lovely hole in the door with a hammer! The cat must have been so scared, though, with all that noise in the dark. I almost broke my shoulder trying to go through the door - it didn’t really work out.”

On track, the Dutch driver has a shot at becoming a four-time world champion at this weekend's Las Vegas Grand Prix if he finishes ahead of title rival Lando Norris.

Max Verstappen gives his take on securing the world champion in Las Vegas

Max Verstappen stated that he was realistic about his chances of performing well at the Las Vegas Grand Prix this weekend, even though the Red Bull RB20 had not been the quickest on the track in the dry conditions for quite some time now.

As per GPBlog, the Red Bull driver spoke about his chances of wrapping up the title and said:

"At the moment, it's difficult to tell, because if you look at the last few races, in the dry, of course, we didn't have the pace. It's not that because we won in the rain in Brazil suddenly everything is fixed and everything is looking great.
"It, of course, gave me a good position in the championship, but I also have to be realistic that we're still not the quickest."

Max Verstappen had previously won the 2023 edition of the race in Sin City despite not being the quickest car on track last year.
