Mercedes driver George Russell's girlfriend Carmen Montero Mundt shared a series of posts from the Mercedes AMG dinner she hosted ahead of the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix this weekend. The Spaniard has been going out with the British driver for a some time now and is often spotted cheering for him in the paddock.

The 26-year-old works in the finance industry and has built a life of her own away from the public eye. She recently hosted a dinner that celebrated women in motorsport and had a gathering of many women associated with the sport, including NASCAR driver Toni Breidinger.

"An unforgettable evening co-hosting with WhatsApp and Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 in the heart of Las Vegas!"

She even posted several stories on her Instagram featuring the women who were present at the event, and wrote:

"Was honestly so incredible to be in a space that I have absolutely fallen in love with over the years surrounded by women who have empowered it into their businesses. Left feeling so inspired in my own career."

As per People.com, Montero Mundt has been quite open about supporting Russell's F1 career while balancing her own as she said that watching the Mercedes driver race "takes my head away from work and I enjoy the sport and spending time with him. There’s nothing I enjoy more than G’s success."

George Russell will be competing on track in Las Vegas this weekend and finished P2 and P3 in the first two practice sessions on Thursday night.

George Russell previews Las Vegas GP qualifying session

Mercedes driver George Russell stated that he was encouraged to see the performance of the W15 during Thursday's two practice sessions and predicted a massive amount of track evolution before qualifying.

As per Formula1.com, the 26-year-old said:

"It is a street track and quite a dirty circuit today. As it continues to both clean up and grip up, I am sure it will continue to evolve. It is likely that the times will be three seconds or so quicker come qualifying tomorrow."
"We will therefore pick through the data overnight to understand exactly why we were so strong and how we can continue to make improvements too. It is clear others will take a step forward so we will have to be at our best if we want to challenge at the front again on Friday.”

George Russell will hope to continue his qualifying dominance over his teammate Lewis Hamilton this season at the Las Vegas Grand Prix and secure a strong result over one lap.
