Lewis Hamilton to not live in Enzo Ferrari and Michael Schumacher’s ex-house at Fiorano - Reports

Lewis Hamilton will not be staying at Ferrari founder Enzo Ferrari and ex-F1 driver Michael Schumacher's former house at Fiorano, a recent report claimed. The said report snubbed an earlier affirmation by Sky Sports Italy, which claimed that Hamilton's stay would be at the aforementioned property following his switch to the Scuderia Ferrari next season.

Multiple reports surfaced on Tuesday that temporarily made Hamilton the second driver to be given the privilege of staying at Ferrari and Scuderia Ferrari founder Enzo Ferrari's house at Fiorano. The property is situated around Modena Province of Italy.

The first driver who enjoyed the privilege was Michael Schumacher, another seven-time world champion and a Ferrari legend. The former German driver lived at this house during his stay with the Prancing Horse. After Schumacher, Hamilton's name came up as the driver with the same privilege.

However, as per the latest report in The Race on their X account, Ferrari will not allow Lewis Hamilton to stay at Ferrari founder Enzo and former F1 driver Schumacher's former house at Fiorano. Hamilton's stay, whenever he will be at and around Fiorano and Maranello, is yet to be announced.

The British driver agreed to a multi-year deal with Ferrari earlier this year. According to the agreement, the seven-time world champion will switch to Prancing Horse from Mercedes at the end of this season, and join Charles Leclerc.

Prior to his move to the Prancing Horse, Lewis Hamilton hailed the Italian team following their recent performances. Hamilton, in his recent media interaction, stated:

"I'm very interested in my future, of course," Hamilton said. "And so, in that respect, keeping an eye, yeah. Watching everything that happens. If you look at somewhere like maybe China already, the Red Bull was like a second ahead."
And it's been quite incredible to see the McLaren rise and then the Ferrari in the last few races, to see their progress and just trying to keep an eye on everyone's car and what they're changing and what they're adding."
You know, we all watch the video, all the drivers, we all watch the onboard laps and we're always trying to see where we can gain time. And you're trying to figure out how you can find that within either your balance or get the team to develop the car in that direction," he added.

Lewis Hamilton will join under the leadership of Fred Vasseur, and replace Williams-bound Carlos Sainz. He will leave the Brackley-based team after 12 years where he reached the pinnacle of success — six drivers' titles and eight Constructors' championships.
