Lewis Hamilton organizes another F1 drivers team dinner, Valtteri Bottas picks up the cheque
Lewis Hamilton organized another team dinner, that was attended by 17 drivers. The entire grid last came together to celebrate Sebastian Vettel's farewell a couple of seasons ago when Lewis Hamilton picked up the bill. According to Pierre Gasly, it was Lewis Hamilton's former Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas who picked up the cheque this time.
Aston Martin pair Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll were among the entities who missed the dinner. Furthermore, outgoing Haas driver Kevin Magnussen was also missing from the pictures shared by multiple F1 stars.
Lewis Hamilton shared a picture on Instagram and captioned the post:
"After another long season battling one another, always good to come together. Thank you all for coming, really grateful for the time."
Meanwhile, Esteban Ocon thanked Sir Lewis for organizing the event. Ocon will not take part in the final Grand Prix of the 2024 season with Alpine. He stated:
"That was a fun night cheers for organising @lewishamilton always great to get all together, bunch of legends all around."
Furthermore, Ocon's teammate Pierre Gasly thanked Bottas for "sorting them out." He wrote:

Lewis Hamilton makes fun of Lando Norris on IG
Lando Norris was on the receiving end of Lewis Hamilton's hilarious joke on IG. The 7-time F1 star poked fun at the McLaren star and called him out for his funny faces and multiple picture takes.
The Mercedes star shared on his Instagram story:
"Lando "multiple takes" Norris"
Lando Norris also took the opportunity to share a cryptic message on his Instagram about George Russell and Max Verstappen following a recent spat between the two drivers. He wrote:
"2024 dinner! and yes, the two your thinking about were sat as far away from each other as possible"
Verstappen and Russell have been involved in a heated quarrel since the Qatar Grand Prix. The 4-time F1 champion blamed George Russell for his penalty and called him a double-faced personality in his media interview.
Meanwhile, Russell clapped back on his criticism and said today:
"I think we've also got a duty as drivers. I've got an eight-year-old nephew who's just started go-karting, who watches all of my races, watches TikTok, watches YouTube, and for a world champion to be coming out saying he's going to go out of his way to crash into someone and put them on their effing head, that is not the sort of role models we should be."
The final race of the 2024 season promises a lot of excitement and spiciness. Who do you think comes out on top for the final race of the 2024 year?
