Lewis Hamilton turns heads in abstract-patterned jacket paired with all-white ensemble arriving at Qatar paddock
Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton was spotted wearing an abstract pattern jacket on his arrival at the 2024 Qatar Grand Prix on Thursday, November, 28. The seven-time F1 champion is arguably one of the best-dressed drivers on the grid and does not miss an opportunity to showcase his eclectic fashion sense in the paddock.
Hamilton is also one of the most influential in terms of opening the doors for the rest of the grid to experiment when it comes to fashion and arrive for races wearing clothes apart from the team gear.
However, the 39-year-old has always pushed the boundaries of fashion as was evident with his all-white ensemble during the first glimpse at the 2024 Qatar GP paddock. Apart from his trademark glasses, it was the Mercedes driver's abstract patterned jacket along with a small bag in his hand that caught everyone's attention.
Heading into the Lusail International Circuit for the third edition of the race after finishing P2 at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton said in his post-race press conference that he was unsure about his chances over the weekend.
"I have no idea. I mean, I don't think anyone in the team knows why we were as quick as we were this weekend. And everyone will be happy about it. But I think often in the hotter conditions, we struggle more."
"When we go into two, maybe Qatar is not so bad because it's a little bit cooler there. And the track is very smooth. So maybe we'll not be too bad at that track. I think we were OK there last year. Abu Dhabi, maybe less so. But we'll see."
Former F1 world champion gives his take on Lewis Hamilton's final two races with Mercedes
Former F1 world champion Jenson Button stated that it would be "mixed emotions" if Lewis Hamilton were to win one of the next two races as he departs Mercedes at the end of the season for Ferrari.
While appearing on the Sky Sports F1 podcast, the former McLaren driver said:
“There’s every reason why they can fight for wins in the last two [races] and it would be a great sign-off for Lewis. It’s 10 years and a couple of days now since he won his first world championship with Mercedes and it would be lovely if he could sign off with a win.”
“It’s definitely mixed emotions when you do that though. Because it’s lovely to sign off after 10 years with the team, but then you’re leaving that team and you’re like ‘hang on a second, was this the right decision?’ So, we will see.”
Lewis Hamilton has signed a multi-year contract with the Italian team and will team up with Charles Leclerc next season.
