"I don't think Michael Schumacher leads a very active life": Neurosurgeon gives his take on former F1 driver's health
Numerous reports surfaced in Germany that Michael Schumacher was present in person during his daughter, Gina Maria Schumacher's wedding with Iain Bethke in September this year.
However, Johnny Herbert, a former F1 driver, and Schumacher's close friend snubbed the claim and clarified that the German former driver couldn't attend the wedding due to health issues. Renowned neurosurgeon Jussi Posti also called the chances of Schumacher being present as 'highly unlikely'
Here's what he said,
"If a hospital has been built in his house, with everything medicalised around him, it seems that he has been in hospital most of the time," Posti told Iltalehti. "Based on the information available, I don't think he leads a very active life. Everything points to him being unwell. As bedridden patients, most people become so frail and stiff that it is no longer possible to get them out of bed after so many years."
Michael Schumacher has been out of the public eye ever since his accident a decade ago. Information about him is only available to his family members and doctors who are treating him.
